Photoshop Express is underwhelming, but it’s free and does what it says–very little. Nevertheless, since I’m on a hiatus from photoshop CS and working solely on an iPad I have to work with what’s available.
I took the above photo with a Nikon cool pix and thought it looked great as is. It could have been manipulated in photoshop to bring up the hue/saturation, adjust the levels and curves and so on, but without anything it represented the actual sunset pretty well.
In photoshop express, I just used the vibrant filter–one of five (yawn)–and voila! Brilliant photo worthy of sharing at the very least with my friends on Facebook.
Photoshop Touch will be the next experiment on the iPad, but I’m waiting on a free trial version.
