Singapore’s Supertrees

These artificial “trees” are not only gorgeous sculptures, they act as vertical gardens, generating solar power, acting as air venting ducts for nearby conservatories, and collecting rainwater. Five years in the making and located in Singapore’s South Park Garden, the “vertical gardens” consist of 18 trees towering hundreds of feet above the city and glow at night. The “park” officially opened this past weekend.
