San Francisco Veteran’s Mural Project

The tiny alley in San Francisco’s Tenderloin was once called “Crack Alley”, but in 2012 Amos Gregory, a veteran of the Persian Gulf War, started a mural project in an effort to provide fellow veterans with an outlet to cope with their war-time experiences.

All of the murals are painted by the veterans themselves offering an inside view of the battles they face when they return home.
