Abandoned ships, once hardy and majestic, take on an eerie beauty when left in their broken state. These massive vessels are treasures of a not so distant past, reminding us of the fragility of life and it’s mystery.
1. SS Ayrfield, Homebush Bay is a floating forest in Australia.
2. Duke of Lancaster in Wales turned into a graffiti Mecca.
3. Odd sighting of camels surrounding abandoned ship in the desert.
4. Decaying bones of the Peter Iredale shipwreck along the Oregon shore.

They’re beautiful.
I’ve seen the one on the Oregon coast, when I was a teenager. Now that I live in Australia, I could go and visit the one in Sydney…

Glad you enjoyed. I would give anything to see them in person!
